Fire-damaged Glasgow School of Art fitted with new roof

A temporary roof is being installed on the fire-damaged Mackintosh building at Glasgow School of Art.

The specially created metal frame was hoisted onto the building to ensure it remains wind and watertight over the winter.

The A-listed building, partly destroyed by fire in May, was designed by Scotland's most influential architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

BBC Scotland's arts correspondent Pauline McLean reports.
