Glasgow crash: Teenager and grandparents amongst dead

A teenager and her grandparents are among six people who were killed in Glasgow on Monday after a bin lorry careered out of control.

Jack Sweeney, 68, his wife Lorraine, 69, and their 18-year-old granddaughter Erin McQuade, all from Dumbarton, were among the dead.

Gillian Ewing, 52, from Edinburgh, Stephenie Tait, 29, and Jacqueline Morton, 51, both of Glasgow, also died.

Visiting the scene, Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said Glasgow was a "broken-hearted city".
