Storm waves lash Orkney harbour

Storms have been hitting Kirkwall harbour in Orkney.

Gusts reaching 100mph have hit much of the north of Scotland.

Warnings for severe weather will remain in place for much of the weekend as temperatures drop, giving way to snow and ice.
