Rangers fan on Dave King: 'This is a great day for us'

Shareholders in Rangers International Football Club have voted on resolutions put forward by Dave King as he seeks to oust the current board.

At a brief extraordinary general meeting (EGM), votes were made on the removal of chief executive Derek Llambias and finance director Barry Leach.

Votes were also made on King, fellow former Rangers director Paul Murray and John Gilligan becoming directors.

David Somers and James Easdale had already resigned their directorships.

Speaking after the meeting, one fan said: "There's no chance of this club going down the hill now. We're in good hands now... this is a great day for us".
