A new poll commissioned by the BBC has suggested that 64% of Scots believe immigration should be reduced.

Women and older people are more likely to be in favour of a reduction while most politicians at Holyrood say Scotland needs more skilled migrants.

Scots are almost as negative about immigration as the population in the rest of Britain.

In the second in a series of reports on immigration, BBC Scotland's Lucy Adams looks at what the poll means.
