Human remains found in search for student Karen Buckley

Police Scotland say they have found human remains in the search for missing Irish student Karen Buckley.

The discovery was made overnight on a farm near Milngavie, to the north of Glasgow.

Formal identification has yet to take place. Ms Buckley's parents have been informed.

A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with her disappearance.
