Tributes to World War One Gallipoli campaign

Events are taking place to mark the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings during World War One.

More than 140,000 people died during the campaign as the Allied Forces tried to secure entry to the Black Sea and the Turkish capital Constantinople (modern Istanbul).

Around 1,000 people will join dignitaries at the Scottish National War Memorial on Saturday, 25 April, with members of the public invited to Edinburgh Castle esplanade.

BBC Scotland's Lisa Summers reports.
