Forth Bridge considered for World Heritage Status

Unesco is considering giving World Heritage Site status to the Forth Bridge in recognition of its "outstanding universal value".

A meeting of the UN's heritage committee in Bonn, Germany, will make its decision over the weekend.

If successful, the bridge will be Scotland's sixth World Heritage site alongside New Lanark, the Antonine Wall, the Heart of Neolithic Orkney, St Kilda, and Edinburgh's Old and New Towns.

BBC Scotland's Steven Godden reports.
