'Glorious twelfth' kick-starts grouse moor campaign
A campaign has been launched to try to highlight the benefits of Scotland's grouse moors.
It comes on the first day of the grouse shooting season, traditionally known as the "Glorious Twelfth".
The 12-month "Gift of the Grouse" campaign will attempt to set out the advantages for tourism, leisure, jobs, the environment, conservation and accessibility.
There are continuing calls for shooting businesses to be licensed, or even banned, in an effort to stamp out wildlife crime.
BBC Scotland environment correspondent David Miller reports.
