Music playlist to help unlock dementia memories

Dementia patients in Scotland could soon have access to a new app designed to unlock their memories through a personalised playlist.

The project uses music to tap into long term memory and can treat patients whether they are at home, in hospital or in care homes.

BBC Scotland's Fiona Stalker has been to see the pilot project in Grampian.
