Scottish minister John Swinney doubts reversal on UK benefit cuts
Scotland's Finance Secretary John Swinney believed it would be unlikely that the Scottish government could find the money to reverse the planned UK government benefit cuts.
He made the comment during an interview on the BBC's Sunday Politics Scotland programme.
When presenter Gordon Brewer asked if a reversal on cuts was possible, Mr Swinney said: "If you are saying to me, will we be able to reverse every single one of the cuts of the UK government, then I think that will be unlikely for the Scottish government to undertake."
