Hunt to find MSP who called Nicola Sturgeon 'liar'

Holyrood has begun an investigation to identify the MSP who heckled Nicola Sturgeon during first minister's questions.

The first minister was answering a question when the shout of "liar" can be heard across the chamber.

Presiding officer Tricia Marwick stopped proceedings to reprimand MSPs on the use of "unparliamentary language" and called on the culprit to identify themselves.

Ms Marwick said she would review the official report, which later named Neil Findlay as the responsible party, saying she could "take action".
