New Glasgow subway driverless trains unveiled
The first images have been revealed of a fleet of new trains which will operate on the Glasgow subway.
Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) has awarded the contract to Stadler Bussnang AG / Ansaldo STS Consortium.
The trains can operate without drivers and are being built as part of the first major overhaul of the service since 1980.
SPT say the trains will have dedicated facilities for wheelchair users, be smoother, quieter and should be operational by 2020.
BBC Scotland transport correspondent David Miller reports from Glasgow.
