Aberdeen announce new stadium plan
Aberdeen football club has announced plans to leave its Pittodrie home.
The Dons said they wanted to build a new stadium and training facility in Kingsford, near the new Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route.
The club has abandoned plans to build a new stadium at Loirston to the south of Aberdeen.
The new stadium will be subject to planning permission as BBC Scotland's John McManus reports.
