Syrian refugees on settling into life in Scotland

Syrian refugees who have been settled in Aberdeenshire have been telling the BBC about the difficulty of adjusting to life in the UK.

A film crew was granted exclusive access to an English language class offered by Aberdeenshire Partner Refugee Group, of which Aberdeen Mosque and two local church of Scotland congregations are members.

Speaking through an interpreter, some of the refugees spoke of the warm welcome they have received.

Katie McLean, a resettlement co-ordinator for Syrian New Scots, says many of those who arrive in Scotland have extremely complex issues.
