Scheme tackles sex assaults among students

A programme to tackle the problem of sexual assault among students is being launched in Glasgow as thousands of students begin university.

A report by the National Union of Students suggests that a fifth of freshers experience some form of sexual harassment during the first week of term.

The Let's Talk initiative is being jointly supported by Glasgow and Glasgow Caledonian universities, along with Rape Crisis Scotland and Police Scotland.
