Scotland's venison boom 'limited by lack of farm growth'

Changing consumer tastes have led to an increase in the market for venison.

But the stock and fencing costs of setting up a deer farm means Scottish demand outstrips supply, with the product imported from as far afield as New Zealand.

Experts say Scotland is in danger of losing its stake in a multi million pound industry unless action is taken to encourage growth in the sector.
