Roger Daltrey's automata to be sold at auction

A rare collection of automata are to be sold at an auction in Edinburgh next week.

The devices feature clockwork mechanisms which allow them to move by themselves, and were very popular throughout 19th Century Europe.

Experts believe that some of the figures, which are owned by singer Roger Daltrey, could sell for as much as £18,000.
