Remembrance poppies and their subtle differences

There are subtle differences in Remembrance poppies made in Scotland and those produced elsewhere in the UK.

Scottish poppies have four petals and no leaf. Other poppies comprise two petals and can have a green leaf.

Poppy Scotland say the leaf is "botanically incorrect" and that it would cost about £15,000 to add leaves to Scottish poppies.

They say that money is better spent on veterans.
