Donald Trump protestors unveil 'Love Trumps Hate' banners

Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 45th President of the United States later.

Police in Washington have been preparing for thousands of protestors to gather in the city.

Alice Mumford was part of a demonstration in Edinburgh which saw protest banners hung from North Bridge on Friday morning.

She said similar demonstrations across the UK are designed to show solidarity with "groups in the US who are fearful of a Trump presidency and will face harassment, discrimination and a rollback of rights".
