'Check the map - Skye is definitely an island'

People on Skye have been amused and slightly baffled at a suggestion the isle might not qualify as an island.

SNP MSP John Mason had earlier questioned whether the land mass should be included in the Islands Bill during a Holyrood committee hearing because it it connected to the mainland by a bridge.
