The man who blesses salmon

A salmon producer near Ullapool has teamed up with a member of the Shia community to cater for some Muslim customers.

Hatim Ameen comes from Manchester to Loch Canaird near Ullapool to bless each fish just before it is slaughtered.

While generally in Islam fish is already halal, he says the ritual makes each salmon fit for consumption by followers of Dawoodi Bohra, a relatively small branch of the community.
