Overnight snow fall causes travel difficulties in Scotland

Large parts of Scotland woke up to a blanket of snow on Thursday, including in Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire, where conditions became challenging for drivers.

A Met Office yellow warning for snow and ice has been extended for the bulk of mainland Scotland until 21:00.
