Ambulance battles through flash flooding in Greenock

An ambulance has had to battle through flash flooding after severe downpours hit parts of Scotland.

Footage captured by the Greenock Telegraph shows how the A8 in Greenock became completely blocked by the deluge.

Thunder and lightning has swept across parts of the country, with a Met Office yellow warning for thunderstorms in place for Friday and Saturday.
