Lifeboat lashed by waves during Storm Arwen

An RNLI lifeboat is struck by waves as it is moved to the safety of a harbour during Storm Arwen.

Volunteers moved the boat from its mooring at Torness to Dunbar harbour.

Predictions for gusts of 80 to 90mph prompted the Met Office to issue a red weather warning.

Thousands of people in Scotland have been without electricity following damage caused by the storm.
