'Corner starting to be turned' in Covid battle

The first minister says there are signs a corner is starting to be turned in the current phase of the pandemic.

In Nicola Sturgeon's latest Covid update, she confirmed that restrictions on outdoor events are to be lifted from Monday as part of a phased end to measures brought in before Christmas.

However, she stressed that the situation was fragile and the impact of a return to work and school after the festive period was still to become apparent.
