Former Glasgow student killed in Gaza was 'lovely'

A Glasgow couple who spent time with a woman who died in Gaza say they were privileged to have known her.

Dima Alhaj was killed last month alongside her six-month-old baby, her husband and her two brothers.

Roseann Maguire and Gerry O'Hare hosted Dima for two months while she was studying at the University of Glasgow.

Ms Maguire remembered Dima as a "lovely young woman" and recounted how close they became during her stay: "She really enjoyed the freedom of Glasgow... She called us her second family."
