Blind woman explains how guide running 'feels like flying'
A blind woman is in training for the Great North Run after discovering she could train with a guide.
Ruth Forrest, who has been visually impaired from an early age, says she began to feel different as a child when people began restricting her movement.
But having found guide running - which is running with a sighted partner - the 39-year-old from East Kilbride says she feels a new sense of freedom.
