Festive fun as thousands join Glasgow Santa Dash

Thousands of runners clad in red coats and fluffy hats have taken part in Glasgow's Santa Dash.

This year's festive 5K raised money for the Beatson Cancer Charity and the Lord Provost's Charity Fund for vulnerable children.

Festive attire was not limited to Santa suits - participants dressed as a Christmas tree and the Grinch were also seen among the runners.

The event has raised more than £400,000 for a number of charities since it began in 2006.
