Badger prowls Silverburn Shopping Centre car park

A badger has been filmed by security cameras prowling the grounds of one of Scotland's busiest shopping centres.

The mammal was captured outside Silverburn, in the Pollok area of Glasgow, at 05:20 on Saturday.

The badger arrived at the back of the centre, near the post office, and spent a few minutes sniffing about before running off towards nearby woodland.

Silverburn manager David Pierotti said the badger was the "strangest visitor" since the centre opened in 2007.
