Helicopter rescue farmer surveys flood damage

A man who was rescued from his flooded farm with his four children has been surveying the damage caused by the heavy rain.

Sam Kennedy-Moffat and his children, all under eight, were flown to safety after being trapped in the farmhouse beside the River Nith at Closeburn, near Dumfries.

He told BBC Scotland's Catriona Renton about the rescue by a Royal Navy helicopter and the aftermath of the heavy rain.
