Dumfries meningitis teenager's father welcomes vaccine move

A Dumfries man who lost his son to meningitis has welcomed moves to introduce a vaccine against its B strain.

Michael Pattie has helped to raise funds for research into the disease since the death of his teenage son, David.

He said the introduction of the vaccine was "joyous news".
