Do computer games reflect the people who play them?

Particularly during the pandemic school friends Imogen and Isla from Perth have been playing computer games. But their increased gaming also made them realise lots of the characters often appear the same and lack diversity.

So the keen gamers have been looking at whether the characters in video games represent the people who play them.
