10th anniversary of Port Talbot steelworks explosion

It is 10 years since explosion at number five blast furnace at Port Talbot steelworks which killed three men and injured many others.

At 17:00 GMT on Tuesday, 8 November, marking the exact hour at which the explosion occurred, a memorial service will be held at St Theodore's parish church in Port Talbot.

Gilbert John was among the first reporters at the works that night and spoke to many of those who saw and heard the explosion.
