Bangor pier overhaul: concern over potential cash shortfall

One of Wales' few remaining Victorian piers is facing a potential £1m shortfall in cash needed for vital work.

Bangor's Grade II listed pier is due to have a 25-year overhaul which could cost in excess of £2m.

But pier owners Bangor City council might not have all the cash they need.
