Paralympics: High hopes for Welsh athletes in London

The 2012 Paralympics will be officially opened on Wednesday evening at the Olympic Stadium, before competitions start on Thursday morning.

Wales has 38 athletes competing in the GB team, more than ever before, and seven more than went to Beijing four years ago.

They have a lot to live up to as Wales punches above its weight in disability sport.

In Beijing, Welsh athletes won 25% of the British gold medals. So who will be the Welsh stars of the Paralympics this year?

Aly Rowell, the BBC Radio Wales reporter for the Games, looks at who is likely to bring home the medals.
