Hitachi Wylfa deal excellent - Welsh Secretary David Jones

Welsh Secretary David Jones as welcomed the news that the Japanese technology company Hitachi has agreed to buy Horizon, the British nuclear power project, in a deal worth almost £700m.

Under the scheme, there are plans to build two new nuclear power reactors --- one at Wylfa on Anglesey, the other in south Gloucestershire.

Mr Jones told Kayley Thomas on BBC Radio Wales that it was "excellent news not just for Anglesey but for the whole of north Wales".
