April Jones: Parents cling to hope she is still alive

A family friend of the parents of April Jones says they have "so much hope" their daughter will be found alive, one month after she disappeared from her home in Machynlleth, Powys.

Ceri Herbert, 33, said Coral and Paul Jones felt "overwhelmed" by the resources used in the search for the five year old girl.

Mr and Mrs Jones issued a statement thanking the public for their support after April disappeared.

Mark Bridger, 46, has been charged with the abduction and murder of the little girl.

Ms Herbert spoke to Shelagh Fogarty on BBC Radio Five Live.
