'Transport poverty' concern amid rail fare rises
Rail travellers in Wrexham and Cardiff discuss the implications of a hike in fares as one expert warns of the increasing problem of "transport poverty" in Wales.
Lee Waters, head of sustainable travel charity Sustrans in Wales, says it is the 10th year in a row rail fares have risen above inflation giving people little incentive to give up their car which they are also struggling to pay to keep on the road due to rising fuel prices.
And George Muir, former head of the Association of Train Operating Companies, tells Felicity Evans on BBC Radio Wales that keeping down rail fares is not the way to help people on low incomes and more emphasis should be placed on bus travel.
