Rhyl Sun Centre could go under £18m revamp plan

The seafront in Rhyl could undergo a radical transformation if Denbighshire councillors approve plans.

An £18m investment, with a private leisure company providing the capital and design, would see the popular Sun Centre pool complex replaced by a new aquatic centre, as well as an upgrade for Rhyl's Pavilion Theatre.

Although the ideas are still at the discussion stage, councillors will be told on Tuesday that the plans could help attract more private investment for other tourist attractions.
