Concern at youth music cuts in Wales

One of the UK's most celebrated composers has renewed his warning that Wales' reputation as a musical nation will decline if there are further cuts to youth music services.

Karl Jenkins said he also feared that music tuition would become the preserve of the rich.

Flintshire council has already made cuts, while other authorities are planning to reduce their financial support.

Dominic MacAskill, head of local government for Unison in Wales, and harpist Catrin Finch discussed the issue with Bethan Rhys Roberts on Good Morning Wales.
