London Olympics: More people playing sport in Wales

The number of people playing sport in Wales has soared since London 2012, according to new research.

Swimming and boxing have seen the biggest rises of more than 30% in the six months after the Games, according to Sport Wales.

One of the legacy targets was to increase the number of people playing sport around Britain.

Sarah Powell, corporate director of Sport Wales, told Oliver Hides and Steve James of BBC Radio Wales she welcomed the Olympic effect.
