World War I centenary: Flanders keen to link with Wales

In the second part of a series looking ahead at the centenary of the start of World War I, reporter Roger Pinney found a community in Flanders keen to establish close links with Wales.

Campaigners must to raise another £60,000 by September to erect a memorial to the Welsh soldiers who fought during the war in the Belgium region.

People in the area have already donated land for the memorial.

Roger Pinney reports.
