Pupils in poverty in Wales 'lack confidence,' report author says

A new report about the impact of poverty on education in Wales is being released.

It is based on interviews with nearly 200 11 to 14-year-olds and has been researched and written by a group of four teenagers.

Ali Beesley, 18, from Aberdare, is one of the report authors.

She told Huw Thomas of BBC Radio Wales how poverty can cause a lack of confidence in pupils.
