Wales police devolution: David Hanson warns on challenge

The Welsh government has come under pressure to prove its case that powers over policing should be devolved.

First Minister, Carwyn Jones says he wants the Labour Party to include the pledge in its manifesto ahead of the next general election.

But he has been warned by the shadow policing minister and Welsh Labour MP, David Hansen, that reducing crime is more important than deciding which government manages the police.
