New £2.7m lifeboat for Moelfre station on Anglesey

A £2.7m lifeboat is being unveiled in Moelfre on Anglesey.

RNLB Kiwi is named after New Zealander Reginald James Clark who left £2.2m to the Moelfre station.

Mr Clark was a merchant seaman and rescued by lifeboats after his ship was torpedoed during the war.

The village's revamped maritime museum, the Seawatch Centre, is also re-opening.

Radio Wales' Good Morning Wales presenter Gareth Lewis spoke to Moelfre lifeboat operations manager, Rod Pace.
