Cardigan Castle support posts removed

Support posts that surround the walls of Cardigan Castle are being removed after nearly 40 years.

The stanchions were erected in 1975 with the aim of being a temporary support for the wall.

They are coming down as part of a major restoration project at the castle.

A ceremony was held in the town to mark the removal of the first stanchion.
