Welsh hospitals: 999 plea to ease NHS pressure

The Welsh government is urging people to think carefully before dialling 999 as accident and emergency departments are facing a huge increase in demand.

On Monday, more than 300 patients were seen at the A&E department at Morriston Hospital in Swansea, and ambulances have been queuing outside hospitals across the country.

Health correspondent Owain Clarke spoke to Wales Today's Sachin Krishnan from the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, where the number of patients going to A&E is up by a quarter.
