'Oldest' Colwyn Bay cinema retires 35mm projector
The oldest working cinema in Wales goes digital from Thursday night.
Theatr Colwyn in Colwyn Bay was one of the last venues in the country still using a traditional 35 mm projector for screenings.
The new digital projector and sound system has been paid for by a grant of £50,000 pounds from the Arts Council of Wales and the Welsh government.
Management hope it will help secure the theatre's future in the long term.
Chris Dearden has been for a look behind the scenes.
