Heaviest March snow in north east Wales 'for 30 years'

Heavy snow is expected to continue for hours in north and mid Wales after falls closed hundreds of schools and brought chaos on the roads.

It is expected to be the most snow for the time of year in north east Wales for more than 30 years, and there is an avalanche warning for Snowdonia peaks.
